Awards for Excellence

2010 Awards for Excellence

The 2010 Awards for Excellence are to be held on Tuesday, 4 May 2010 at Wrest Point Casino and it is now time to nominate for awards that best represent the achievements of your venue.

The Tasmanian Hospitality Association Awards recognise Tasmania’s best venues and provide a further chance to collect an award at the National Awards for Excellence. As in previous years, it should be noted that each nomination is judged by a panel of experts utilising an independent evaluation system. This system is objective, and aims to deliver constructive feedback to improve many aspects of your business. New this year is the inclusion of the following categories: Best Informal Dining Restaurant, Best Restaurant in a Winery and Best New Restaurant.

We encourage all venues to nominate in relevant categories, please note that you must be a current member of the THA to enter the Awards. A 2010 nomination form, and any submission requirements must all be returned before close of business (5-00pm) on Friday 12 February, 2010. Late nominations or submissions will NOT be accepted. Please do not hesitate to contact Clare Manning or Sue Hallam, Awards for Excellence Coordinators on 6224 7033 if you have any questions regarding this year’s event. Good luck with your entry!
