Understanding the Training System
FREE WORKSHOPS - SERIES 2
The Tasmanian Hospitality Association (THA) with the support of Skills
Tasmania is offering hospitality operators free workshops.
This workshop will cover essential training system information to
assist anyone with trainees or apprentices or considering training their
staff.
These free workshops are available to all business operators in the
Tasmanian Hospitality Industry.
The workshops aim to demystify the training system by looking at key
aspects of the training package as well as the role of training
organisations (RTO’s), learners and employers.
Ever wondered what an
Apprenticeship Centre does or who RTO’s report to? This workshop is
for you!
The first half of the workshop will provide you with a clear picture of
how the training system operates including responsibilities of all
parties involved in the training contract.
A panel discussion will be held in the second half of the workshop with
representatives from RTO’s, Skills Tasmania and the Tasmanian
Qualifications Authority. There will be opportunities to ask questions
of each representative.
The workshops will run for approximately 2.5 hours with light
refreshments provided and an opportunity to network at the
conclusion of the workshop.
RSVPs are required one week prior to your chosen workshop to ensure
a place and for catering purposes. Call Stacey on 03 6224 7033 or email her to reserve your place.
